Garden guru Jamie Durie is going to find it hard to dig his way out of this one, seen canoodling with his ex – while his girlfriend’s away!
It’s one thing to stay friends with your ex, but celebrity gardener Jamie Durie looks to have taken the concept just a little too far. The green-thumb was caught kissing and cuddling his ex-girlfriend, actress Sophie Scarf – who he dated for more than two years – while his current flame Lisa Christie was working interstate.
Jamie, 42, and Sophie, 30, who are believed to have split just before Lisa came on the scene about a year ago, spent an afternoon together at the picturesque Barrenjoey House restaurant in Sydney’s celebrity playground Palm Beach. It was an intimate reunion, with the pair looking comfortable in each other’s arms.
“When they were sitting out in public, they were looking around to see if anyone was watching, but as soon as they went back into the restaurant there were plenty of kisses and cuddles,’’ said a witness to the hook-up.
Meanwhile, 33-year-old Lisa – who Jamie met when she was a contestant on his reality show Top Design – was in Port Douglas. His relationship with the interior designer, who has two children from a previous marriage, has been kept low-key, although the two have attended many events together.
