Home and Away is set for a dramatic season return when new episodes premiere on Monday 18th of February. Picking up after the wedding of Chelsea (Ashleigh Brewer) and Colby (Tim Franklin), with five key characters facing grave danger in the wake of last season’s finale.
The action-packed premiere will begin the day after Bella (Courtney Miller), Willow (Sarah Roberts) and Chelsea were kidnapped by Ross (Justin Rosniak). Will Colby and Dean (Patrick O’Connor) be able to save them?
Fans will find out next week, but, in the meantime, the stars of the show are here to spill on what’s in store for the upcoming season. Scroll through to see what’s coming on the road ahead…
Will the River Boys reunite?
The turmoil from recent events is enough to send anyone into a spiral. But Colby, a former River Boy, is far more susceptible than most. His happy ending is being threatened by the same man who killed his parents and kidnapped his sister.
“I’ve wanted Colby to turn dark for a long time, so it’ll be interesting to see how it plays out!” Tim hints.
Should he manage to live through Ross’ terror, the trauma could send him into a dark place. Will he hand in his badge and rejoin the River Boys?
Has Alf found love?
In 2018, Alf finally revealed a long-held secret: Martha was still alive. Then, she appeared on his doorstep, hoping to rebuild their relationship!
“When she turned up, Alf wasn’t too happy about it,” Ray Meagher (above), 74, explains. “But she’d told Alf why she’d left all those years ago and it’s noble thing to do, no matter how misguided.”
Despite being apart for more than 30 years, it’s clear Alf and Martha (Belinda Giblin) have unfinished business.
“I suspect Alf and Martha may decide to open some form of communication,” Ray says.
“They may not get back together, necessarily, but might explore some common ground, if there is any left between them.”
Are Justin and Willow really over?
James Stewart and Sarah Roberts may be loved-up in real life, but for their characters in 2019, there’s only heartbreak.
The end was nigh for turbulent couple Justin and Willow, who eventually called it quits in the season finale.
“They have officially broken up, which is upsetting,” Sarah says. “But it’s also an opportunity for Willow to turn over a new page in her life and find that independence she used to have.”
It’s the betrayal no-one saw coming, and could leave Brody as the most hated man in Summer Bay. Well, after Ross, that is.
After sleeping with his apprentice chef Simone (Emily Eskell), Brody (Jackson Heywood) is grappling with telling his wife Ziggy (Sophie Dillman) the truth.
“Brody didn’t expect to have any feelings for Simone, but he does,” Jackson, 30, reveals. “He’s feeling every emotion possible.”
Has Tori gone too far?
In the 2018 season finale, Tori discovered she was pregnant after another round of IVF – without Robbo’s consent.
Robbo (Jake Ryan), who offered to be the sperm donor, decided against trying again after the local doc suffered a miscarriage. But Tori (Penny McNamee) was determined to be a mother at any cost and lied about implanting the second embryo.
With her secret weighing heavily, Tori has to come clean. But Robbo and his girlfriend Jasmine (Sam Frost) are happily engaged, and her bombshell could jeopardise their happiness. Oh, dear!
Home and Away returns Monday 18th of February at 7pm on Channel Seven.
