An abrupt arrival
Following one daughter running away and the other being suspended from school, Maggie (Kestie Morassi) and Ben (Rohan Nichol) Astoni decided to whisk the family away for a holiday. But their bad run wasn’t over – the car broke down in Summer Bay. And when Alf (Ray Meagher) couldn’t work his magic; the family were stranded until their car could be fixed.
Ziggy (Sophie Dillman), who already crossed paths with local bad-boy Brody (Jackson Heywood), made a stellar first impression when she decided to steal money from none other than policewoman Kat (Pia Miller).
It looks like these troubled teens are set to stir up Summer Bay!
Mick’s mission
Olivia (Raechelle Banno) initially suspected that Irene (Lynne McGranger) had a new boyfriend when she caught her being secretive on the phone. Unfortunately, it turned out the mystery caller was Irene’s unhinged son Mick (Kristian Schmid).
Fans will remember that Mick assaulted Billie (Tessa de Joesselin) and previously kidnapped baby Luc.
Later, to Ash’s horror, Irene confirmed that Mick had been calling her because he is determined to get access to Luc and is appealing to the family courts for a paternity test.
Tori’s trouble
Both Ash (George Mason) and Kat admitted to Tori (Penny McNamee) this week that they think their relationship is over. The revelation comes after Kat didn’t want to adopt Luc with Ash.
Tori may not have been the best person to divulge this information to. Since Nate’s (Kyle Pryor) departure, the doctor has developed a bit of a crush on Ash.
She confessed her feelings to Leah (Ada Nicodemou,) who told her not to feel guilty. “It’s one fantasy, it’s not like you’re going to act on it,” she advised. But Tori didn’t look convinced.
Will she strike while the romance is on the rocks?
