SAM I AM

Fans will recall book editor, Sam (Cheree Cassidy) tried her luck with Zac (Charlie Clausen) last year. This week, she was trying it on again. Zac was drinking alone at Salt – after yet another tough time with Leah (Ada Nicodemou) – when Sam approached him. Zac asked what she wanted and Sam didn’t mince her words – she wanted him! Crikey!

IRENE TO THE RESCUE

Billie (Tessa De Josselin) was beside herself with grief over her baby, Luc being kidnapped. Ash (George Mason) and others dashed around town, but couldn’t find Mick. It was Irene (Lynne McGranger) who ended up finding her son, Mick with little Luc. There was quite a tender moment between mother and somewhat deranged son. And, then Mick was arrested and Luc was safely back with mum.

MARILYN’S MISERY

Poor Maz (Emily Symons) was in terrible pain due to her burns. Nate (Kyle Pryor) told her not to worry. But, he sure changed his tune when he later examined her hand and told her the operation had failed and her hand (gulp) was dying.

KAT SEARCHED FOR THE ARSONIST

And, in related news – Kat appeared to be closing in on the firebug. Hunter (Scott Lee) was a suspect. But, he appeared to have been ruled out later in the week. Then, one of her colleagues found a scorched petrol near where the bushfire was started. Could this be the clue she needs to pin the crime on John (Shane Withington)?
