From the very first episode in 1988 to now, longtime fans will be able to take a time machine into the Summer Bay of yesteryear and rewatch their favourite characters, revisit shocking storylines and renew their love for the long-running show.

The announcement was made during this year’s explosive Home and Away finale, an email to 7 Plus subscribers touting ”stay in Summer Bay this summer,” encouraging fans to rewatch episodes of old as they await brand new episodes in 2023.

In this years season finale, Felicity wasn’t sure she could make it down the aisle on her wedding day….

”We have handpicked the most memorable episodes including births, deaths, weddings and tragedies – such as the epic 2022 bus crash and the great storm of 2011.”

Amongst the episodes are said to be Leah and Vinnie’s wedding and Kit giving birth to Archie.

With more than 8,000 episodes under its belt from more than 35 seasons over 35+ years, there is a whole stack to catch up on, but why not start your binge now?

7Plus, the digital platform for the Australian network, currently has a large back catalogue of Australian dramas and has dedicated ”fast channels” for network dramas such as All Saints and Blue Heelers.

Earlier this year at the networks annual ”Upfronts” event, Seven announced that more than 2000 hours of additional content would be added to the 7Plus on demand library in what was described as a ”fundamental game changer” for the network.

The streaming platform is also being redeveloped for a more user-friendly experience in line with the likes of Netflix and Disney Plus.

A brand new season of Home and Away will begin airing in Australia on Monday, January 9 following this week’s cliffhanger finale.
