They’re the Home and Away golden couple that fans just can’t get enough of.

So it was only fitting that James Stewart and girlfriend Sarah Roberts made their dazzling Logies debut at the 60th TV WEEK Logie Awards at The Star on the Gold Coast on Sunday, July 1st.

We caught up with the love-struck pair on the red carpet, who told us they were looking forward to celebrating with their castmates and were loving the change of location on the Goldie.

“It’s so good [to be on the Gold Coast], I grew up 20 minutes away from here, I’m loving it,” James told TV WEEK.

While Sarah revealed she spent the day getting ready with her Home and Away pal and Best New Talent nominee Sam Frost.

“I spent the day with Sam [Frost], we got our makeup done together, had a couple of champagnes then came here!” Sarah told us.

As Home and Away rings in its 30th year on our screens, James Stewart couldn’t be more thrilled to be working on the long-running soapie playing Justin Morgan.

“It’s a privilege! I suppose we’re holding the candle for the moment and we’ll probably have to pass that on eventually. It’s one of the longest-running shows in Australia, well done!” James said.

The real-life couple, who play Justin Morgan and Willow Harris on the show, say it’s a privilege to work on Home and Away.

Home and Away has not only brought James and Sarah together, but provides the cast members with a loving network of friends on and off screen.

“We are pretty close. Some people work on a certain day and others work another day, sometimes you’re like ships in the night and sometimes you’re in each other’s faces for like 18 hours,” James explained.

“I’m actually excited about tonight because a lot of us are here! It will be a nice opportunity to catch up,” Sarah agreed.

Could these two be any cuter?

Meanwhile James is still grappling with the fact his darling daughter, who he shares with ex-partner Jessica Marais, started school this year.

“I know, right? Six! It’s doing my head in,” he quipped in disbelief of his baby growing up when we asked him how Scout was enjoying school.

“She’s loving it, she’ll be at home watching now!”

So, what does Scout make of her dad being on the TV?

“When she was very young, she couldn’t work out how I could be on the TV and at home… She loves seeing Sarsie [Sarah] on the TV,” James beamed.
