Home And Away cheating scandal: How could you, Zac!

Viewers couldn't believe it. We couldn't believe it. But, the ugly truth is Zac crossed the line when he cheated on Leah in this week's Home And Away.

How could Zac (Charlie Clausen) do that to our beloved Leah (Ada Nicodemou)? Elsewhere, we said a sad farewell to Billie (Tessa De Josselin), and John (Shane Withington) faced an uncertain future as he prepared to go under the knife to remove a brain tumour. This is what happened…

ZAC’S SHAME

Look, it’s no secret things haven’t been great between Zac and Leah of late. Leah was pretty unimpressed when he didn’t tell her Sam (Cheree Cassidy) was back in town. Zac this week couldn’t find a way to connect with Leah as the family prepared for Billie’s funeral.

Then, she snapped at him and he finds himself at Sam’s motel room. Of all the places in the Bay he could have ended up, it had to be here.

From the moment he was there it was pretty obvious where things would end up – in Sam’s bed. The next day, he woke next to Sam, guilt tearing him to pieces.

The question is, will Leah find out?

SAD DAY

Billie’s friends and family gathered at the beach for her funeral. VJ (Matt Little) seemed too stunned to say much. In fact, it was Ash (George Mason) who delivered the most poignant moment of the episode when he sang his sister a farewell song. Then, Ash and Billie ventured into the ocean with Billie’s ashes. Sigh. It was certainly emotional, as funerals go, but it all seemed to be over so quickly.

SURGERY SHOCK

OK, we really want Arnold Schwarzenegger from Kindergarten Cop to show up and tell John: “It is a tumour.” Anyway, John was pretty bummed out after learning he was responsible for the fires. So much so, that he didn’t want to undergo life-saving surgery to remove his brain tumour. Eventually, Marilyn (Emily Symons) was able to convince him to have the surgery. Now, we wait as prepares for surgery. How will Maz cope if he doesn’t survive surgery?
