For 30 years, Alf Stewart (Ray Meagher) has been a cherished stalwart of Summer Bay. But now, ahead of Home And Away‘s big return tonight, it looks as if his time could be up.
In upcoming episodes of Home And Away, the much-loved local is left for dead after falling into a dangerous sinkhole. But with no-one to help and time not on his side, is this goodbye?
Alf stumbles into trouble.
Elsewhere, newcomer Jasmine (Sam Frost) reveals her dark past to Leah (Ada Nicodemou), and Maggie’s (Kestie Morassi) health crisis goes from bad to worse.
Meanwhile, Olivia (Raechelle Banno) prepares to say her final farewell to Summer Bay.
Fans were shocked when Olivia cheated on her boyfriend Hunter.
Poor Alf has faced more burdens in his lifetime than any man should, including natural disasters, health problems and the odd criminal or two.
In fact, he’s even spent time in jail. But nothing has looked like defeating him – until now.
In dramatic scenes, Alf’s life is in danger after he falls into a sinkhole near the local high school. Left unconscious from the fall, he’s in a vulnerable state as the foundations begin to crumble around him.
Will this be the end of the beloved character?
It’s no secret Alf’s health has been deteriorating after he suffered a heart attack in 2016.And this latest incident certainly won’t help his health.
Making matters worse is the fact no-one knows he’s run into trouble.
At The Diner, Leah and Ryder (Lukas Radovich) begin to question Alf’s whereabouts. Will they find him in time?
And what causes the sinkhole exactly is yet to be seen. But rumours have been circulating that this could be Alf’s big finale. Strewth!
