If you still had questions about the Gilmore Girls revival cliff hanger – you know, the one where Rory (Alexis Bledel) dropped that baby bombshell to mum Lorelai (Lauren Graham) – it looks like they could be answered very soon, with Netflix revealing they’re in talks for a second season.

Best. News. Ever!

“We obviously loved the success of the show,” the streaming service’s COO, Ted Sarandos, told Press Association.

“Fans loved how well it was done. It delivered what they hoped … People were really excited about more, and we have been talking to them [series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and executive producer Dan Palladino] about the possibility of that.”

Alexis hasn’t ruled out another trip back to Stars Hollow either, following the success of last November’s revival

“The only thing I can say about a future instalment of the show would be that it would be about the story and certainly the timing. We want to tell a great story,” she explained.

And while we wait a bit longer yet to get 100 per cent confirmation whether the project will officially get the go-ahead, another of the show’s stars, Milo Ventimiglia (aka Jess Mariano) has given us one huge spoiler about the new plot – Jess is definitely not the daddy of Rory’s baby!

“No, it is not Jess’ baby,” he said said earlier this month.

“I feel like everybody’s like, ‘But what if he came out with a pompadour, leather jacket and a smart brain?!’”

Erm sorry to burst you’re bubble Milo, but we already know that since Rory only slept with Logan (Matt Czuchry) and the random Wookie.

Wait, what if Jess was in the Wookie costume? Now our brains are really exploding. Hurry up and fill us in, Netflix!
