It’s hard to believe it’s been over eight years since we said goodbye to Australia’s most beloved medical drama, All Saints.
And now, the show’s leading lady herself has revealed she’d be on board for a reboot.
“You could always do a couple of short tele-movies,” Georgie Parker told us at the 60th TV WEEK Logie Awards on Sunday.
Before adding with a huge grin: “Never say never!”
In a somewhat serendipitous moment, Georgie also revealed she’d just bumped into one of the show’s producers on the red carpet.
The hugely popular All Saints followed the lives of the medical staff on ward 17 at All Saints Western General Hospital.
“You know what? I just hugged the producer, and she’s over there,” the 53-year-old explained.
“I’m still alive, poor Erik [Thompson] isn’t… I love Terri,” Georgie, who played Sister Terri Sullivan between 1998-2005, shared.
Indeed, the death of Terri’s long-standing love interest Mitch was one of the most heart-wrenching moments on Australian TV.

“You could always do a couple of short tele-movies,” Gerogie says.
When the couple finally got together, they didn’t get their happily ever after. Shortly after Mitch and Terri got engaged, they discovered Mitch had a brain tumour and was going to die.
The pair wed in a low-key ceremony in 2003 and Mitch died in the following episode.
But Georgie’s Home and Away co-star Emily Symons has an easy way to get around Mitch’s death.
“He could come back as a ghost!” Emily suggested.
Last October, fans went into meltdown when Georgie Parker, Tammy Macintosh, Josh Quong Tart and Erik Thomson had a mini-reunion and shared a happy snap of their catch-up on social media.

Last October, some of the cast reunited and fans were quick to question if it could be a sign of things to come.

And it’s a role that Georgie says she’s “really proud of.”
“We’re really proud that the fans keep voting for our show, year in, year out. That makes us really happy and makes those early starts worth it,” she said.
“Unless something weird happens like an asteroid hits, I’m hoping Home and Away is around for another 30 years. It feeds the community in a way that no other drama does. It’s like a friend that you can spend time with every day.”
