Georgia started at Channel 10 in 2017, calling it her dream job as she became a roving reporter for its daily news broadcast.

In statement this week, Network 10 commented on Georgia’s swift departure: “As with any casual position, the availability of work ebbs and flows with the requirements of the company.”

Georgia’s new job isn’t the only big thing happening for her this year – she’s set to marry her fiancee Lee Elliot.

The pair, who met on The Bachelorette, got engaged in 2019.

They were planning to marry in 2020, however the COVID-19 pandemic threw plans into disarray.

No matter though – it looks like the pair have found plenty of other ways to plough forward with their happily ever after, including buying a house.

Bring on 2021, we say!
