Ryan Murphy hit it out of the ball park with his hit series Feud: Bette And Joan and now he has his sights set on Princess Diana.
Season 2 of the acclaimed series is set to tackle Diana’s tumultuous life both during and after her divorce from Prince Charles.
“It starts with the filing of divorce papers and takes you up until her death,” Ryan confirmed at an FX event.
The 10-part series is currently in pre-production, but Ryan is staying tight-lipped as to who will play Diana and the rest of the Windsors.
Though, he has ruled out his long-time muse Sarah Paulson playing the People’s Princess.
Here’s our dream casting. Take note, Ryan!
Margot Robbie as Diana
Our Margs has the acting chops, looks and star quality to fill Diana’s Jimmy Choos.
Tom Hiddleston as Prince Charles
The Thor star would need to darken his locks again, Loki-style, to play the heir to the throne.
Annabelle Wallis as Camilla
She’d nail the stern facade, but glam Annabelle might need a make-under to play Charles’s long-time love.
Jessica Lange as The Queen
The Oscar winner’s a regular in Ryan’s shows, having starred in American Horror Story and Feud: Bette & Joan.
Charles Dance as Prince Phillip
The former Game Of Thrones actor is a dead ringer for the Duke Of Edinburgh, who’s said to have despised his former daughter-in-law Diana towards the end.
