Channel 10 has confirmed the TV WEEK Logie Award-winning show, Family Feud, will be making a return to our TV screens soon, but with a very special twist.

And you bet the Gold Logie-winning host, Grant Denyer is back too!

After being “rested” by the network in 2018 following a dip in ratings, Network 10 has announced they are partnering with production company Fremantle to produce a “special 10 episode series” this year.

The prime time television event will feature families who have been directly affected by the tragic bushfires, which devastated parts of the nation at the beginning of the year.

Grant can’t wait to return.

“While Australia’s favourite game show has enjoyed a rejuvenating ‘rest’, our frontline workers have spent the last few months showing 2020 who’s boss,” the statement read.

“From devastating bushfires to a global pandemic, Australians have taken a battering, so what better way to show our appreciation to our heroic frontline workers than by asking them, ‘Name the first thing you would do if you won $100,000?’, which may actually come in handy, because Network 10 is giving these very special families a chance to win up to $100,000.”

We couldn’t agree more.

Beloved host Grant says he can’t wait to get back to the game show that won him the Gold Logie, and he loves dearly – once calling it the show that “saved my career”.

“The Feud’s back baby! I can’t wait to run amok with more nervous and excited Australian families, to have lots of laughs, forget our troubles and have a damn good time giving away record amounts of cash,” he said.

“It’s the same great game show, for an even greater cause – celebrating the families and workers on the frontline of COVID-19. Bring it on!”
