She only just announced her engagement to police officer Sean Ogilvy last month, but Erin Molan says the wedding plans are already afoot.
And the pair also don’t want to wait too long until they start considering adding the pitter patter of little feet to their happy home.
“We don’t want to wait a long time to get married, we’re a bit older so we don’t need to wait two or three years,” the NRL Footy Show star tells TV WEEK of her rush to get to the altar.
“I definitely want kids. I have beautiful nieces and nephews. And I have a neighbour downstairs who has two kids – I will honestly go downstairs a few times a week and ask to look after the kids for a couple of hours.
“I think that’s what life is all about. It’s about having babies and having a family and that’s what’s important.”
Given the pair both have incredibly busy work schedules they are yet to set a date for the wedding. But Erin says it’s her top priority post-Logies.
“I just need to sit him down for five minutes to lock in a date, it’s taking bloody forever,” she laughs.
Still, trying on gowns for the awards show may have helped in one area – finding the wedding dress.
“I requested white dresses so I’m not sure why I wore black to the Logies,” she laughs.
“But no, I didn’t want to overshadow the big day obviously. It’s all a bit of fun.”
