The Home and Away actress knows how to bond with her baby!
Emily Symons, who plays Marilyn on the long-running soapie, recently took her son Henry to a stunning Sydney beach for a dip.
And her only child, who she shares with ex Paul Jackson, has grown up so much.
This August will mark Henry’s second birthday and the 47-year-old star admits she still can’t believe she got her miracle baby.
After years of struggling to fall pregnant, she finally conceived through IVF.
“I didn’t expect it to work at all,” Emily revealed in a recent interview with Mother & Baby.
“I thought I would be too old. There was a very small chance that I could get pregnant using my own egg anyway, so we were lucky that our last attempt worked,” she added.
Speaking about returning to Home and Away following the birth of Henry, Emily confessed it was “bittersweet” but she’s since found a good groove.
“Going back to work was bittersweet, It took a long time to adjust. Henry has an incredible nanny – she’s like family. It helps to know Henry is so well looked after when I am not there. It was hard to hand over to someone else, but now it’s working beautifully,” she told Mother & Baby.
