“I’d love to star in Stranger Things and the show’s casting director, Carmen Cuba, was part of the judging panel,” Charmaine tells TV WEEK.

“We spoke about a few different projects and to work with her would be amazing!”

Charmaine’s victory was a poignant one, with the Western Australian actress, 33, being the first openly gay woman and first woman of colour to take out the scholarship.
