TV characters that came back from the dead

DEE BLISS – NEIGHBOURS

Despite being driven off a CLIFF by her husband, Toadie – on their wedding day no less – Dee Bliss (Madeleine West) came back to Neighbours. Well, it wasn’t exactly her, it was a con woman named Andrea – and we’re sure she’ll be back to cause more trouble in 2018.

JON SNOW – GOT

Probably the most famous ‘back from the dead’ TV moment of all time. Despite Jon Snow copping a serious wound to the stomach, he bounced back in season six thanks to some nifty magic from the Red Woman.

BRIAN GRIFFIN – FAMILY GUY

Our favourite TV dog, Brian Griffin, was shown the door in Family Guy after being hit by a car. Fan uproar meant his death was short-lived with Stewie bringing the pooch back to life with his time travel machine.

FOX MULDER – THE X FILES

After being abducted by aliens – let’s be honest, he was asking for it – Fox Mulder was declared dead, meaning Scully was resigned to a lifetime of sadness. Luckily he returned a year later and was nursed back to health.

MEREDITH GREY – GREY’S ANATOMY

After bringing her medical skills to a boat crash, poor old Meredith Grey is bumped into the water and drowns! She starts to see some of her dead patients – and even a dead dog – before being brought back to life at the last minute. Typical.

BOBBY EWING – DALLAS

Dallas’s Bobby Ewing disappeared at the end of the 1984 season with the actor, Patrick Duffy, left the show to pursue greener pastures. Turns out they weren’t that green so he came back and they pretend the whole thing was a DREAM!

PRISON BREAK – SARA TANCREDI

Dr Tancredi’s head turned up in a box so it was pretty clear she was dead. The actress, Sarah Wayne Callies was actually having a pay dispute with the show’s creators so they killed her off. Once it was settled she returned, as you do.

GLENN – THE WALKING DEAD

He’s actually dead now – thanks a lot Negan. But Glenn also ‘died’ in season six under a big pile of flesh eating zombies. He was bleeding pretty badly but turns out he was using Nicholas’s body as a shield. Come on.

MADGE BISHOP – NEIGHBOURS

Her TV death was monumental; with Madge dying of pancreatic cancer back in 2001. Madge then made her big comeback for Neighbours 30th anniversary episodes, appearing as a figment of Harold’s imagination.

BRAX – HOME AND AWAY

Well he kind of came back from the dead! Ricky was sure Brax had kicked the bucket when he drowned in the river but he was just in hiding! He obviously swept back in to Summer Bay soon after to steal his lady love and hightail it out of there!
