Reimagined seasons of My Kitchen Rules and House Rules, a reboot of Big Brother, and a Justine Clarke-led drama series, are just some of the exciting TV shows on the cards for Channel Seven next year.
The network confirmed the new line-up at its annual 7Upfronts in Sydney on Wednesday, where they unveiled what’s to come in 2020.

REALITY TV
One of the original reality romance series, Farmer Wants A Wife, returns in 2020. The series, which boasts nine marriages and 19 babies in Australia, will be back with a new crop of single farmers hoping to find love.
For once, the rumours have turned out to be true as Seven launches a reboot of Big Brother. With a new house, new rules and a new generation of housemates, Big Brother promises to be filled with show-stopping twists.

Three superstar judges, one exciting new show!
My Kitchen Rules returns, with a “Rivals” theme as five former favourite teams go head-to-head with five new teams in the “fiercest competition yet.” Find out more about the judging shake-up here.
House Rules is also back with a twist, as the eight teams also renovate a penthouse apartment on the Gold Coast. The season has new judges, with Kyly Clarke and Saul Myers joining Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen. Jamie Durie will co-host with Abbey Gelmi.
14 brave Aussie celebrities will embark on the toughest test of their lives, as they attempt to overcome – attempting to overcome the intensive SAS selection process in SAS: Who Dares Wins.
Based on America’s ABC Network’s series, Mega Mini Gold is an extreme miniature golf competition, set on a larger-than-life obstacle golf course.
Rebel Wilson leads a new competitive dog styling series called Pooch Perfect, where a panel of the industry’s top judges will critique their work to determine the ultimate winner of the $100,000 grand prize.
Australia’s Got Talent will return with a “champions” season, the most talented, memorable, wackiest and all-round fan favourite acts from past seasons of AGT and some of the most popular acts from the Got Talent franchises around the world on the one stage.
Wife Swap also returns, with two wives with opposing parenting styles swapping lives.

DRAMA
Justine Clarke (House Husbands, Rake), Rob Collins (The Wrong Girl, Glitch, Cleverman) and Stephen Peacocke (Home and Away, Wanted) will star in a new series called RFDS. The series follows the heroes of the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Read more here.
A Place To Call Home and Packed To The Rafters creator Bevan Lee pens a seductive and glamorous new thriller, featuring an ensemble cast led by English actress Hermione Norris (Luther, Cold Feet).
Between Two Worlds follows Cate Walford (Hermione), whose harsh, vicious, business tycoon husband, Phillip (Philip Quast, Picnic at Hanging Rock, Hacksaw Ridge) fights to dominate his family as he faces his mortality. The series also stars Sara Wiseman (A Place To Call Home), Aaron Jeffery (Wentworth), Dominic Allburn (A Place to Call Home), Blazey Best (A Place to Call Home), Marny Kennedy (Janet King) and up-and-coming actors Tom Dalzell, Melanie Jarnson, Megan Smart, Alex Cubis and Elijah Williams also star.
Home and Away will return, with a new family injecting an exciting dynamic to the ensemble cast. From tragedy, to an unexpected wedding, life promises to be as wild as ever in Summer Bay.

Emmy Award-winner Julia Ormond (Mad Men, Legends of the Fall) and Ben Barnes (Westworld, Chronicles of Narnia) star in BBC’s Gold Digger, a contemporary relationship thriller filled with unexpected twists and turns.
Filmed in Sydney and set in California, psychological thriller Reckoning explores the darkest corners of the male psyche through the eyes of two fathers, one of whom is a serial-killer. The series stars Aden Young (Rectify, The Disappearance), Sam Trammell (True Blood, This Is Us), Simone Kessell (The Crossing, Terra Nova) and Laura Gordon (Winners & Losers, Hunters).
Kim Cattrall (Sex and the City) stars in southern Gothic family drama Filthy Rich. The “outrageously soapy” series follows the family of a patriarch of a mega-rich Southern family, famed for creating a wildly successful Christian television network, who dies in a plane crash. His wife and family are stunned to learn that he fathered three illegitimate children, all of whom are written into his will, threatening their family name and fortune.

Also on the cards is One Lane Bridge, a new crime drama with a supernatural edge. It stars Dominic Ona-Ariki (Jonah, Shortland Street) as Ariki Davis, an ambitious young Cook Island Māori Detective who, during a murder investigation at Queenstown’s infamous One Lane Bridge, inadvertently reawakens a spiritual gift that endangers the case, his career and his life.
US drama series 9-1-1 launches a spin-off set in Austin, with Rob Lowe (The West Wing, Parks and Recreation) starring as a sophisticated New York cop who, along with his son, relocates to Austin, Texas.
Kate Phillips (Peaky Blinders, The Crown) stars in British detective drama Miss Scarlet and The Duke, set in 1880s London.
LIFESTYLE
Home and Away star Sam Frost and Better Homes and Gardens presenter Adam Dovile join Shane Jacobson, Todd McKenney and Georgie Parker in the latest rendition of the full monty, The All New Monty: Guys and Gals.
Shane and Todd will also be starring in another comedy series with Kris Smith and Brian “BT” Taylor, where they travel the world to take on insane challenges in Mates On A Mission.
From the heart of the Australian outback comes the inside story of a terrifying murder that shocked the world, with true crime series Falconio: An Outback Murder investigating the 2001 disappearance of British backpacker Peter Falconio in outback Australia.
Johanna Griggs and the team will return for another exciting season of Better Homes and Gardens, which celebrates its 25th birthday.
Comedian Billy Connolly tells the story of the Scottish people in America in new series Billy Connolly’s Great American Trail.

SPORT
Starting on the 24th of July, seven will air 30 days of Olympic and Paralympic Games from Tokyo 2020. The broadcast will be led by Bruce McAvaney on Seven and 7TWO, along with six bonus curated 24/7 channels and 35 live streams on 7plus.
The 2020 AFL Premiership Season will kick off in March, through to the Grand Final in September. 7Cricket returns for its second summer of cricket in 2019-20.
Footy show The Front Bar, Sam Pang, Mick Molloy and Andy Maher, returns to cover the 2020 AFL season. Armchair Experts will expand to cover the NFL along with AFL.
