The stars of the hit series Pose wowed on the red carpet at the launch of the new Foxtel channel Fox Showcase in Sydney overnight.
Dominique Jackson and Indya Moore play Elektra Abundance and Angel on the groundbreaking American series, which features the most transgender actors on one show in television history.
“I’m so incredibly proud and excited to show the world what we have been working on,” Indya told TV WEEK on the red carpet.
A second season of Pose, which explores the New York City Ball scene in the 1980s, was recently announced by the American network that produce the show – FX.
Other big names at the Fox Showcase launch included the star of Mayans M.C. J.P Pardo, Australian actors Don Haney, Rob Collins, Ewen Leslie, Brooke Satchwell, Susie Porter and Celia Ireland.
There was a lot of love in the room for the creator and star of the FX original series Mr Inbetween, Scott Ryan.
The show premiered first in the United States yesterday on FX, the first Australian series to do so.
There have been some very positive reviews for Mr Inbetween, including in the influential Hollywood Reporter.
Foxtel also announced a new drama to be filmed called The End, which will star Frances O’Connor.
The night was hosted by Marta Düsseldorp, whose much loved Foxtel series A Place To Call Home will finish for good in a couple of weeks time.
