She’s made no secret of her desire to find love now that she’s out of the I’m A Celebrity jungle. And as news broke 39-year-old Sophie Monk had been cast as the next Bachelorette, Casey Donovan said she she’d happily hand out roses if the opportunity were to present itself.

“I think it would be hilarious – it would be great TV” she told TV WEEK. “Can you imagine if they announced my name? Alright, let’s do it. Let’s start a campaign!

“I came to the Logies with no date – who was I going to bring? I couldn’t bring the bloody cat, could I?”

Casey looked stunning on the night in a dress by Lalabelle.

“I’m feeling very fresh,” she admitted.

It’s been strange for Casey to be back in the spotlight following her stint in the jungle, but the 28-year-old is enjoying the positive attention.

“It’s been really amazing,” Casey said. “For the past 10 or 12 years I’ve just been Casey from Bankstown and now I’ve got kids stopping me in the street and it’s really beautiful.”

It was a big night for the reality star, who sang an acoustic version of David Bowie’s “Heroes” during the In Memoriam segment of the show. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house after her stunning performance.

“It was a big year last year, we lost a lot of people,” Casey said. “You have to let the emotion come out otherwise it will explode.”

Casey shared the stage with James Blunt, Andy Grammer and Jessica Mauboy – who lifted the roof off with her medley of hits.
