“People keep asking me when I’m going to be the next Bachelorette, [and] you know, we’ll see what happens,” she says.

“I’d love to. But if [Kris] did [become the next Bachelor], I’d ask Channel 10 if I could be a contestant!”

“I’d love to meet someone. I’m almost 30. I’ve never been in a relationship except a fake one for six years,” reveals the star, who was catfished by a female friend who pretended to be her online boyfriend.

And with a track record of being a clear fan favourite – she won audience-voted Australian Idol in 2004 and I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Outta Here! this year, it’s no wonder producers want to get her on board.

After shedding 36kg since leaving the South African jungle, a “confident” and “happy” Casey is open to more TV time.

“If it’s The Bachelorette, for sure,” she tells.

“Hopefully 2018 can bring some more joy.”
