Feisty Blockhead Caro Tahana says a big auction win would be very special for her and hubby Kingi.
‘A couple of hundred grand would be sweet money. We want to have more kids, but we haven’t been able to afford to,’ admits Caro, 31. ‘If we make some decent money it means we can get pregnant.’
Caro and Kingi are desperate to give their daughter Halia, three, a sibling. ‘It’s the right time to have another one,’ says Caro. Yet with the couple having to work long hours away from The Block in order to pay off the mortgage on their Townsville home, adding to the family hasn’t been possible.
‘We haven’t got extravagant dreams or an expectation that we’re going to win big,’ Caro admits.
‘But if we made enough to be able to have another baby, we’d be ecstatic. We want a little Block baby!’
