His radio co-host Amanda Keller may have landed a hosting gig on Dancing With The Stars, but Brendan Jones insists he has no interest in following in her footsteps.
“TV and I don’t get on,” he says. “I’ve retired from it!”
That said, the star did pluck up the courage to strip off on Channel Seven’s The Real Full Monty this year to raise awareness for men’s health issues, including testicular and prostate cancer, and suicide.
Now, Brendan, 50, is throwing himself into Movember by growing a moustache – or at least trying to.
“I’ve never been able to grow one!” he says with a laugh.
Former The Bachelorette Australia star Sasha Mielczarek, 32, is also supporting the campaign after overcoming his own battle with mental health.
While Sasha has ruled out returning to The Bachelor Australia franchise, there’s one reality TV show he’d love to sign up for.
“I’m a builder, so if The Block called me, I’d be in!” he says with a grin. “I love that sort of stuff.”
