It’s been a long search for who will be stepping into Dr Chris Brown’s shoes for the hit show Bondi Vet, but the producers have finally made a decision.

But it’s not just one vet who will be taking on the mammoth task – it’s now four!

Yep, it seems that they couldn’t reach a decision and instead have picked their final four faces of the show – veterinary doctors Alex Hynes, Danni Dusek, Lewis Hunt and Peter Ricci.

Bondi Vet put on a nationwide search after it was announced in March that Dr Chris Brown would be leaving the show to focus on his other TV commitments with The Living Room and I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.

“After an exhaustive search process and extensive camera testing of the final four, it was impossible to single out one candidate,” said WTFNs director of content Steve Oemcke.

“Each of the four new Bondi Vets has a unique skill set and story to tell. Their love of pets and animals shines through and there is a great chemistry between them,” he continued.

Dr Peter Ricci won the public vote!

“Their work in front of the camera has been outstanding, and we know that fans will really get behind them as they take the show in an exciting new direction.”

The new-look show won’t be based in Bondi, however, as the vets are based in different areas around the country. Dr Alex works in Brisbane, Peter works at Perth Zoo, Danni works in Mentone, Victoria, and Lewis works in Sydney’s northern beaches.

Stay tuned for when Bondi Vet will be airing in 2018.
