There’s nothing like a teaser trailer to hype our excitement around a new show or season. And, oh boy, has Bloom delivered.
The Stan original drama, which won the TV WEEK Logie award for for Most Outstanding Miniseries or Telemovie last year, is returning with a second tantalising season and even bigger cast.
Home And Away‘s Jackson Heywood plus Jacqueline McKenzie, Gary Sweet and Ed Oxenbould join stars Phoebe Tonkin, Jacki Weaver and Bryan Brown.
Season one saw Gwen (Jacki Weaver) transformed into her younger self (Phoebe Tonkin) after a fountain-of-youth-type berry appeared in the small country town of Mullan following a devastating flood.
When season two of the drama picks up time has passed and news of the age-defying miracle has spread – and the potential power has everyone at odds.
While the trailer is only a quick glimpse into what’s to come, it appears Jackson Heywood will play a young Ray (also played by Bryan Brown). Jacqueline McKenzie, meanwhile, plays Anne Carter, former CEO of a biotech company who arrives on Gwen’s doorstep, by no coincidence.
Sounds like trouble to us!
The release date for season two is yet to be announced, but we’ll be here impatiently waiting.
