A thrilling new drama series is coming to the Nine Network in 2019, with Bad Mothers set to premiere Monday 18th of February.
Bad Mothers will follow five very modern women juggling the big issues of love, family, careers, infidelity and murder.
“Some mothers are perfect with a beautiful home and the perfect family but sometimes behind that pristine picket fence, there’s a world of dirty little secrets,” a statement from Nine reveals.

The exciting new series boasts an all-star cast of Australian stars, with actors including Melissa George, Daniel MacPherson, Don Hany and Tess Haubrich in major roles.

Melissa George (Charlotte)
Best known for: Home And Away, The Slap, Heartbeat and Mulholland Drive.
Character: Charlotte Evans.
Charlotte comes from a wealthy background and has two children. On the outside, she’s a flawless charity queen and do-gooder ― but is she all she seems?
Tess Haubrich (Sarah)
Best known for: Pine Gap, Wolf Creek and Home And Away.
Character: Sarah Pooley.
She’s an intelligent and attractive GP. In a lot of ways, she’s a high achiever with a very full life. Sarah is a confessed perfectionist who seems to combine being a working mum and a full-on career with ease.
Mandy McElhinney (Maddie)
Best known for: Love Child and The House Of Hancock.
Character: Maddie Hicks.
A first-time mum at 42, gay Maddie found the love of her life in Jess McKinnnon (Michala Banas). The couple had a baby together ― but things didn’t go quite as planned.
Shalom Brune-Franklin (Bindy)
Best known for: Doctor Doctor, Our Girl and The State.
Character: Bindy Burridge.
She’s a personal trainer who unexpectedly became a mother after falling pregnant at 16. Bindy relies heavily on the help of her own mum, Jo (Nikki Coghill), who often finds herself parenting Bindy’s young child.
Jessica Tovey (Danielle)
Best known for: Home And Away, Wolf Creek and Wonderland.
Character: Danielle Hicks.
A stepmum of two kids who works as a retail assistant in a pharmacy, she’s a gossip, loves a laugh and is popular with the mothers. She’s also a great listener and likes to help others.
Bad Mothers premieres Monday 18th of February, 9pm, on Nine Network.
