He might be battling it out against two other guys to win Sophie Monk’s heart on The Bachelorette Australia, but Apollo Jackson isn’t focussed on the competition. In fact, all he can think about is what his future with Sophie would look like. And it’s adorbs!
Magic man Apollo, 24, tells NW that despite the 13-year age gap between the two, he is ready to settle down with Sophie. And he even wants to put a ring on it.
“I’m super old-fashioned,” he spills. “I just think marriage is beautiful – I’m not scared about it, I’m excited.”
And, as for whether he would ask Sophie’s parents for her hand in marriage? “Yeah! 100 per cent. No, 150 per cent! I thought that’s what everyone does? [Laughs]” He says. Swoon!
If you thought that Apollo couldn’t get any better, wait till you hear what he has planned for their wedding. “Our wedding would be small with just family and close friends, but we would have a massive after party to celebrate,” he says.
“And, we wouldn’t have to pay for entertainment. There we go cutting bills!”
What’s more, it sounds like kids will follow shortly after.
“I’ve always wanted to be a young, cool dad. Well, actually I’m a massive nerd, so I don’t know if I’ll be cool, but I’ve always wanted to be a young dad,” he shares.
Meanwhile, Sophie has previously told us that she can’t wait to have kids. “I’d love to have my own… I think in a year or a year and a half maybe.”
