That’s pretty much what Matty J asked himself as soon as he stepped foot into the Bachelor mansion.
It’s hard to forget Matty’s heartbreak after Georgia Love rejected him for her now-love Lee Elliot during last year’s Bachelorette finale.
Thinking about it still makes us teary…
The moment Georgia rejected Matty.
But it turns out Australia’s newest Bachelor forgot all about his former flame as soon as he entered the Land of Roses.
“As soon as I met the first woman, I guess The Bachelorette became a distant memory,” he exclusively tells NW of his first night on the show.
But Georgia did manage to creep into his thoughts just a little.
“Actually, being there made me have a huge amount of respect for Georgia, who had no prior experience or introduction to the series,” he says. “It really is a tough job to have the responsibility that comes with it.”
Aww, we love it when exes can be amicable!
