His claim to fame was uttering about two words to Sophie Monk on last year’s series of The Bachelorette.

But on Monday night’s episode of Bachelor in Paradise, Brett Moore was getting more airtime than any other Bachie star thanks to allegations he was already in a relationship with Stephanie Boulton.

Brett’s devious play for a free holiday to Fiji and a sneaky reunion with his girlfriend in the outside world came crashing down after he failed to tell good friend and fellow castmember Tara Pavlovic of his plan.

Caught in the middle, Tara broke down after Lisa Hyde accused her of trying to help Brett stay on the island so he could be reunited with his girlfriend, who was rumoured to be joining the show as an intruder.

“I would never force anyone to do anything they didn’t want to do. I’m not a bad person, I’m not a malicious person and I don’t play games,” Tara sobbed.

Eventually, a producer was forced to ask Brett what his relationship status was to which the 29-year-old awkwardly mumbled he had been “seeing” Steph but they weren’t “Facebook official.”

In a very awkward encounter, a nervous Brett tried to convince a producer he and Steph were just casual.

Not surprisingly at the first rose ceremony, Brett and Davey Lloyd were left high and dry and sent packing.

Now the reality reject is sharing his side of the story, claiming he and Steph were 100% casual and producers approached them as a couple to let their romance blossom on screen.

He also claims Steph’s contract was ripped up after he was sent home.

Taking to Instagram after the dramatic episode aired, Brett shared a photo of Stephanie alongside an essay of an explanation riddled with spelling errors.

“IMAGINE: you were in the really early days of dating someone and after a hectic year filming two tv series’ – along with some personal travel – leaving little time together since meeting,” he began.

“IMAGINE: you were both asked to then go on a show in Fiji, sip cocktails with your mates from the last two series and, more importantly, spend time with THE girl your interested in, all the while being paid.”

Tara broke down after she was accused of trying to help Brett execute his sneaky plan.

“Then imagine you arrived on the island first, her contract only then to be ripped up; leaving it too look like you went on a dating show without her.”

“Imagine then airing it too Australia portraying you as a s–t bloke and as always, forever putting production over humanity, despite never changing our story that we had being seeing each other in the lead up and couldn’t wait to be reunited in Fiji.”

He signed off: “Now you have ‘reality’ TV. #thebachelor #thebachelorette #bacheloreinparadise #happiestwhenintherealworld #filmedsixmonthsago.”

While Stephanie, who starred on Matty J’s season of The Bachelor, is yet to break her silence Tara also took to social media to reveal there’s no hard feelings between her and Brett.

“This guy isn’t bad at all. He never wanted to upset me, and was gutted that he did. Lots of love to Brett and Steph,” she wrote alongside a selfie with the pair and another pal.

To be honest, after last night’s episode we’re a bit Bretted out. Bring on the Keira Maguire and Jarrod Woodgate epic love story we’re all waiting for!
