Toadie has had such a rough trot on Neighbours of late and this week was no different! Here’s what went down:
Hello, Sindi
Poor Toadie has been put through his paces lately! First there was the reappearance of Dee; the wife he thought was dead. Then there was the reveal that he has a teenage daughter! And now, Sindi Watts, another ex-girlfriend, is back to make his life even more complicated! Can the Neighbours writers please give us a moment to breathe before the next shock?!
Sindi’s arrival, although surprising, answered a lot of questions regarding Andrea, the woman pretending to be Dee Bliss. It seems that Sindi is involved in the scam with “Dee”. THIS EXPLAINS SO MUCH! Toadie is none the wiser, but Sonya instantly smelt a rat and insisted she meet with Sindi to see why all of Toadie’s past girlfriends have suddenly come out of the woodwork.
Parental divorce
Meanwhile, Piper is out of luck when she is denied access to a school allowance, even though she is living out of home. Desperate times call for desperate measures and Piper decides to take the first step towards divorcing her parents! Piper’s insistence on obtaining legal independence from her parents leaves Brad and Terese feeling hurt and angry, so Ned decides to step in.
In an attempt to calm the family down, Ned asked Lauren for a loan, insisting that he needed to set himself up, instead he offered the money to Piper with a request to rethink the independence application. After much fuss, Piper decided to withdraw her claim, but she still isn’t going to move home.
Bonding over baby
This week saw Paige and Jack grow closer as Paige experienced the baby kick for the first time whilst with Jack. The pair enjoyed this special moment together but Jack still has no idea that David isn’t the father…
Hidden romance
After reprising their Ramsay Street romance, Ben and Xanthe are doing their best to hide the relationship as the Canning’s and Kennedy’s continue to feud. But the young couple are almost sprung by Sheila, so Ben hides behind her car and Sheila accidentally car-doors him! Karl just happens to be riding by and immediately jumps to his grandson’s defence but matters become even more tense when Sheila’s car tyres are let down and she assumes it was Ben. And so the feud continues!
