Should The Amazing Race’s Tyler be the next Bachelor? His rivals on the show think so.
“A lot of the other contestants have been getting into me about doing The Bachelor,” the footy player from Victoria tells TV WEEK.
“We’ve got a pretty good relationship with most of the teams, so everyone would be pretty happy to sit back and make fun of me if I did it.”
Tyler, like his footy player teammate Tom, is 23. He’s had only one serious relationship in his life so far.
“I haven’t been in a relationship now for a while,” he explains, although he adds that he’s open to finding “the one”, and would rather find the right person than date a string of girls.
“Finding the right person and settling down would definitely be more me,” he says.

Tyler certainly has the looks to be The Bachelor, having spent three years modelling while studying at university.
He’s also very comfortable around TV cameras, thanks to growing up with a famous dad, AFL legend Paul Roos.
“I got to go to a lot of interviews that Dad was at and I got interviewed myself a little bit,” he says of the experience.
But should he be handed the bouquet of red roses, would Tyler want to be the Bachelor?
“For now, I’m just enjoying the ride of the one reality TV show,” he says. “I’m not saying no to anything.”
The Amazing Race Australia airs Monday and Tuesday, 7:30pm, on Network Ten.
