The highly anticipated seventh season of Offspring will premiere at 8.30pm on Wednesday, June 28.
Season seven picks up a few weeks on from the finale of season six and we can expect the entire Proudman clan caught up in all kinds of chaos, as per usual.
Nina (Asher Keddie) is busy with juggling her work with her new relationship with Harry Crewe (Alexander England). She is also dealing with the needs of her increasingly curious daughter Zoe (Isabella Monaghan). Not to mention the fact that she is now Acting Head of Obstetrics at St Francis Hospital in place of Dr Clegg.
Her relationship with Harry is moving quickly, and Nina is forced into making some difficult decisions.
Their relationship will also be tested as it’s revealed that Harry’s family could give the Proudmans a run for their money when it comes to boisterous interference…
Meanwhile, Billie has taken on guardianship of Brody (Shannon Berry) and her newborn baby. However, the difficulties of her long-term relationship with Mick become impossible to ignore and she, like Nina, faces some tough decisions about her romantic future.
The trailer proves that the Proudman matriarch, Geraldine, is back in fine form. It also hinted that trouble could be brewing between Jimmy and Zara.
“This may be the toughest year yet for Nina, Billie and Jimmy, with every relationship under pressure,” Network Ten Head of Drama Rick Maier says. “But the Proudmans are a sturdy bunch and watching them sort out the chaos is all part of the fun.”
