The 62nd TV WEEK Logie Awards will be held on Sunday, June 28
Where are the TV WEEK Logie Awards held?
The big event is held at The Star Gold Coast, the home of the awards on Queensland’s picturesque Gold Coast.
Where can I watch the TV WEEK Logie Awards?
All the action, glamour and thrills from the red-carpet arrivals and awards-show ceremony will once again be telecast on Nine and 9Now.
Why has the nominations process changed for the Most Popular Awards?
After the successful introduction of live voting two years ago, we see this as the perfect opportunity to build excitement for the awards across a five-week period in the build-up to the awards, as well as simplifying the voting process with a single, longer voting period rather than two different voting stages.
So how will the nominees be determined for the Most Popular awards?
Networks are invited to submit five candidates for each of the Most Popular award categories – and Gold! – to TV WEEK for consideration. Then, through a combination of OzTAM TV viewing ratings, Nielsen Social Content Ratings and a panel of TV WEEK experts, a final shortlist of six nominees will be determined in all Most Popular award categories, and seven for Gold. It’s then over to you, the public, to make their voices heard to decide who will win each award come Sunday, June 28, at The Star Gold Coast.
When will nominations be announced?
Sunday, May 24, once again at a star-studded event on the Gold Coast.
When does the public voting start?
Live voting will be open immediately after the nominations announcement on May 24 and will run for five weeks right up until the end of the red carpet telecast on Sunday, June 28.
Can people vote more than once?
No, there’s a limit of one vote per person.
Does someone have to be nominated in another category to also be a nominee for the Gold award?
No they don’t. Gold is a separate category, with a separate submission list, so Networks are able to submit 5 candidates for the Gold award that may differ to their submissions for other categories like actor, actress or presenter.
Why have you introduced the Most Popular Australian Actor or Actress in an International Program award?
TV WEEK and the TV WEEK Logie Awards have a long tradition of supporting local talent and we are thrilled to continue to support Australians as they continue to make their mark internationally, while also recognising Aussie TV fans love watching their favourite Aussies in international programs.
