A number of Australian TV royalty will take the stage to present at the TV WEEK Logie Awards, it has been confirmed today.
The Logies, which are in their 64th year, will be held in Sydney on the 18th August 2024. Voting for the awards is now open at https://www.tvweeklogies.com.au/.
Also confirmed today is the first music act, UK singer James Bay. Fans may know him from his performances on Saturday Night Live, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Jimmy Kimmel LIVE!, and Late Night with Seth Meyers.
James also opened for Bruce Springsteen at Hyde Park in 2023 and this year is due to release his fourth album.
“I’m so excited to be coming back to Australia for the second time this year!” James said.
“Australia has always been a special place to me and look forward to performing on The Logies’ stage”.
A number of notable Australian TV personalities have also been confirmed as presenters for this year’s Logies awards.
Ray Meagher, Kate Ritchie, Rachel Griffiths, Deborah Mailman, Celia Pacquola, Luke McGregor, Stephen Peacocke, Michelle Lim Davidson, Claudia Karvan, Costa Georgiadis, Matt Shirvington, Sarah Abo, The Muster Dogs, Charlie Albone and Stephen Curry have been confirmed to be live on-stage presenters.
Gold Logie nominee Larry Emdur has also been confirmed as a presenter.
Larry Emdur was announced as a Gold Logie nominee along with his fellow nominees Andy Lee, Asher Keddie, Tony Armstrong, Julia Morris, Robert Irwin and Sonia Kruger in June this year.
