The Paris 2024 Olympic Games are merely days away, which means many Australians will be glued to their television screens, enthralled by all of the sporting action.
There are so many sports (55) played at the Olympics that it can be hard to keep up and know which events you’re keen to catch. Here, we list them all so you can prepare yourself for all the upcoming action.
The 2024 Olympics will mark the third-largest Australian team brought to an overseas Games, with 460 athletes competing across 42 sports.
We’ve alphabetically listed all of the sports played at the summer Olympics – and which ones our Aussie athletes will be competing in – below. So if you’re keen to catch some of the action live, you can decide which sports you’ll be staying up late, or waking up early, to watch.
Unfortunately for us Aussies, the Paris time zone is almost opposite to us, which means that we’ll more often than not be waking up to news of what’s happened overnight at the games.
