But next season could look very different, as Woman’s Day hears whispers that longstanding coach Kelly Rowland is determined to make the ninth season her last!

“Kelly is in hot demand all over the world, so it’s hard anchoring herself to a show like this,” says a source.

“She’s had a fantastic run, scooped up a winner and is in love with Australia, but she’s ready to move on,” explains the insider.

This year, the mother-of-one, 39, has had a bumpy ride with fans and her fellow coaches alike.

Viewers have not held back, accusing the Destiny’s Child hit maker of being “unauthentic” and “generic” when it comes to her pitching for contestants on the show.

“I think it’s Kelly’s last season, she’s become a real pain,” wrote one disgruntled viewer.

“Kelly has the most generic, unauthentic pitches. Like a boyfriend we’ve all had that says, ‘You’re the only girl I’ve ever loved’,” joked another unimpressed fan.

Others have flocked to social media begging Kelly to be more transparent when it comes to explaining why she doesn’t turn around for performers.

“I’m a little upset, I didn’t turn fast enough,” she said after the show’s youngest applicant Emmagen performed, but fans stormed Twitter in the youngster’s defence.

“No Kelly, you simply didn’t turn because you didn’t think she was good enough! Can you all just be please be more honest!” pleaded the fan.

Meanwhile, the Kisses Down Low singer has done little to down play rumours of a bitter rivalry with fellow coach Boy George.

Throughout the Blind Auditions, Kelly has frequently snapped at George, telling the performer “Do not touch me!” once as they bantered on set.

During Johnny Manuel’s audition last week, Kelly was left so angry after she was blocked that she rose from her chair and interrupted the ’80s singer, causing the Culture Club star to snap at her, “Hush up Jenny from the Blocked!”

Kelly then got in the face of Guy Sebastian. She grilled him as to whether he was the one who blocked her – leaving Guy visibly rattled.
