The grand final on Sunday night will see the top four sing their hearts out in the hopes of taking home the $100,000 cash prize and a lucrative recording contract with Universal Music Australia.

And it seems the singer we have had our eyes on since day one is set to win.

Sportsbet has been updating their odds in anticipation of the big event, and according to the site, church singer Bella Taylor Smith is in the top spot.

Bella’s beautiful voice has resulted in some epic tear-jerking moments, but speaking with TV Week, the star-to-be revealed she never saw herself becoming a professional singer.

“I loved (and still love) teaching, and that has always been a path I considered, but for a long time, I wanted to be a midwife.

“Only in the last year or two have I mustered the courage to pursue a career in the music industry,” said Bella, who is on Team Guy.

“No one really has the opportunity to perform much during Covid.”

At the time of writing, SportsBet has her odds sitting at 1.62.

Of course, as betting goes, these results aren’t solid evidence she will win the show, but Bella has been heralded the fan and judge favourite for weeks now, so it’s looking good for the 23-year-old.

Her closest competition is Arlo Sim, who is on Team Keith and his odds are at 3.50.

It’s safe to say that Arlo doesn’t appear to be positioned as a threat to Bella as she is still ranking well ahead.

Speaking Who Magazine, Arlo revealed why the disastrous effects of Covid on the music industry led to his decision to audition for The Voice.

“It just felt like the right time. No one really has the opportunity to perform much during Covid. Musicians are doing it really tough,” he told the publication.

“When I was given the chance to audition, I thought, why not give it a shot? And I’m so stoked that I made that leap of faith!”

In third place on Sportsbet’s totem is Team Rita’s girl group G-Nat!on, the first group to get so far in the competition.

They are placed at the odds 6.00, and regardless of where they sit on the night, their performance will undoubtedly entertain.

In the last place is tradie Mick Harrington who is on Team Jess and sits at 8.50 on Sportsbet.

Although the competition doesn’t seem tight, anything can happen as underdogs rise to the top, and bets can be off.
