After witnessing a memorable performance, Keith said in the video: “That’s got me sitting forward. I’ve never heard anything like that.”

Hosted once again by Sonia Kruger , this is the 11th season of the show with over 60 talented individuals trying to turn the coaches’ red chairs during the Blind Auditions.

In celebration of the upcoming season, Keith told Seven, “What will get me the most is when I feel something; when there’s a truth in their voice that speaks to me beyond the sound of just their vocal, and I’m able to feel it deeply.”

“Listening for passion,” added Rita. “I want to hear how much the person loves to sing and their passion for their artistry.”

Jess is interested in storytelling: “I want them to make me jump out of my chair to learn more about them as an artist.”

While last year’s winning coach, Guy, told Seven, he’s searching for a “special voice.

“It is worth fighting for as a coach when you hear it.”

If that wasn’t exciting enough, our first contestant Robbie Dolan, a jokey and dad-to-be, has been revealed.

Ahead of his national TV debut, he told Seven, “I don’t know anything technical about music, but I’ve always been singing in the car, on the way to the races and in the shower.

“I’m not too sure if I can even sing well enough for something like this. I just know that I love singing, it’s definitely from the heart.”
