A new reality romance series is coming to Channel Seven this year, because we viewers just can’t get enough of that on-screen love!
From the producers of The Bachelor comes Seven’s bold new series The Proposal, a reality TV show that helps singles find ‘the one’ who will become their instant fiancé.
In each episode of The Proposal, 10 eligible daters will compete in four pageant-style rounds to win the heart of a mystery suitor or suitress (whose identity is concealed).
There are first-impression questions, a beach-wear round, a round of more confronting questions and, the big one, a round that sees the hopeful singles strive to receive approval from the suitor’s family.
After these four knock-out rounds, the two remaining singles will finally meet the mystery suitor, who will propose to the ‘winner.’
I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! 2019 contestant Luke Jacobz has just been announced as the host of the upcoming series and we are SO excited to hear he’ll be back on our screens.
“I’m so happy to be attached to this very new and exciting project,” Luke reveals.
“Who doesn’t like to watch people fall in love? To be a part of a couple’s story, and to be there the day they become engaged is a pretty amazing thing.”
The host and actor, who has previously starred on Home and Away, The X Factor, Instant Hotel, McLeod’s Daughters and Dancing with the Stars, is recently engaged himself.
After popping the question to his fiancé Raychel in November 2018, Luke is excited to help other singles on their quest to find everlasting love.
“Proposing to my fiancé Raychel was one of the most nerve-wracking, exciting but rewarding experiences of my life,” Luke tells. “I’m hoping that my very recent proposal might give our singles even more confidence.
“I have always wanted to get married and start a family…there’s no greater feeling knowing that you’ve met the one, that you’re now part of this amazing team. I love that I get to be a part of other couples taking the leap too.”
The Proposal is coming soon to Channel Seven.
