Now, the vacancies have officially been filled by radio’s Chrissie Swan, Bachelor alum and presenter Abbie Chatfield, and former Spice Girl Mel B.

Speaking of heading Down Under to add some international spice to the country’s biggest guessing game, Mel B said, “Hello Australia. I have missed you so much but I am back and I can’t wait to get the party started with Hughesy, Abbie and Chrissie.

“Let me tell you though, I am the best-ever game player and I have something up my sleeve that none of these guys have… I’ve hidden behind these masks as a competitor not once but twice.

“So I’m bringing all my secret inside knowledge to this. But more to the point, I’m bringing the fun. Fasten your seatbelts, everyone, it’s going to be a rollercoaster ride.”

Who are the celebrities for The Masked Singer Australia 2022?

Well, we’ll have to figure that out along with the judges by putting together all the clues.

Though, past masked celebrities have been known to change their voices in an attempt to throw both the judges and viewers off the scent.

Last year’s winner Anastacia (who donned a Vampire costume) was one of these sneaky celebs, confessing to our sister site New Idea that she altered her voice at the start of the competition.

“Then I got scared that maybe I sounded too scary,” she said. “Sometimes I can be my own worst enemy; my inner dialogue is really annoying.

“I’m like trying all these voices and eventually on the third song I just said: ‘I want to sing Bonnie Tyler like Bonnie Tyler would sing Bonnie Tyler’, so I sang it like Anastacia singing Anastacia, and immediately the girls were like: ‘Are you Anastacia?’ and I’m like: ‘Oh nooo, I went too far’.”

The Masked Singer Australia is coming soon to 10
