The Block 2017 winners Elyse Knowles and Josh Barker’s newborn son has unfortunately been rushed to hospital.
Taking to Instagram on Friday, Knowles shared the news, posting a photo of two-week-old son Zaii in hospital surrounded by a number of machines.
Baby Zaii was rushed to hospital on June 2.
(Image: Instagram)“Well that was a fun 24 hours. Zaii Zaii even got an ambo transfer to Tweed [Hospital]. Home now and all is fine. The flu is nuts,” she wrote.
Fortunately, it appears that baby Zaii’s health scare required no further time in hospital, with the Daily Mail reporting that the newborn was successfully treated in hospital and is now recovering at home.
Knowles announced the arrival of her second child on May 21, sharing an adorable sleepy video of their latest family member, writing “Zaii Baker 🤍 To love and protect. 18th May 🐚.”

(Image: Instagram)While Elyse and Josh may be “deep in out little love bubble,” Zaii’s big brother Sunny, 2, was not as enthusiastic for his siblings arrival.
“Sunny took some warming up,” wrote Knowles, adding, “I pictured this beautiful moment for 9 months of Sunny meeting the baby, but Sunny didn’t want a bar of him.”
“Well this is not how I thought it was going to go,” Knowles joked in her video, with eldest child Sunny repeatedly crying “put it back.”
“My first born called his brother ‘the baby’ for six months!!! As if using his name made it real!! They’ll be besties soon!!,” replied one fan, with many others laughing at Sunny’s blunt reaction.
Fortunately, it appears Sunny did eventually wrap his head around having a baby brother, with Knowles sharing a sweet photo of the two boys together.

In the weeks leading up to Zaii’s arrival, Knowles shared a collection of stunning maternity photos, revealing to followers that herself and fiance Josh were eagerly waiting the biggest surprise.
“And now we wait for you sweet possum 🐚Boy or girl we truly have no clue,” Knowles wrote to Instagram.
“My little man, soon to be a big brother 🤍🤍,” Knowles wrote.
