The Bachelors Australia is returning in 2023 with three lost and looking for love suitors who have been unlucky in the real world.
Returning host Osher Gunsberg will guide the three new Bachelors on their search for a romantic connection.
But after last year’s disappointing season there’s no doubt the new suitors are under a lot of pressure to rebuild Channel 10’s dating series.
It came as a surprise to fans that the network would bring back three suitors after no one found love in 2022.
So could a second time running prove to be The Bachelors lucky charm? We will see. But first, find out who the men joining the Bachie hunt for love in 2023.
Wesley Senna Cortes
This Bachie made the move from Brazil to Australia to study theology which is the study of God and religious belief.
But he is also an actor and model represented by Bella Management, with 13.6k followers prior to the series start.
“It’s a huge honour given what the show means to Australia, but also to represent my culture,” he told 10Play.
“It’s not every day that you have such an incredible team helping you find love. I couldn’t be more excited.”

Ben Waddell
There seems to be two models on this years Bachie as Ben is a successful international model. But that isn’t the only reason Ben has made the spotlight recently after starting a legal battle with Zac Efron.
In 2021, Ben claimed the series Down to Earth, which featured the American actor was somewhat stolen from a TV show concept he had pitched.
But let’s get back to love – the eligible Bachie is looking for a partner who will join him on life’s adventures while sharing his passion for sustainability and the environment, telling 10Play:
“It’s such a surreal experience to take part in the new Bachelor series, and while I feel incredibly lucky it’s also very daunting. I’ll be going in with an open mind and open heart to find the girl of my dreams.”
Ben’s Instagram handle is @bwadd and has 13.8k followers prior to the series airing.
Luke Bateman
Upon first introductions Luke seems to live the most humble life among his fellow Bachies as he is a lumberjack by trade with a soft side, plus he is bringing his country charm!
How will you know if Luke is head over heels for a girl? He puts pen to paper and writes her a poem – how adorable!
“This is the opportunity of a lifetime, and I’m feeling all the first date nerves – dialled up to 11. I’m looking for a partner who I can build and share a life with, a genuine person who makes me laugh and wants to start a family,” he told 10Play.
