It seems like only yesterday when Tim Robards professed his love for Anna Heinrich in the first season finale of The Bachelor Australia.
And now the first-ever Aussie couple from the franchise are about to say “I do”.
The loved-up couple met on the dating reality show back in 2013 and announced their engagement after a romantic trip away to Broome, Western Australia in May last year.
As the big day gets closer, we’ve put on our investigative hats on to find out as many wedding details as possible, from the dress, to the incredible venue and of course the guest list.
Here’s everything you need to know about Australia’s very own Royal Wedding!
The hens and bucks nights
For a couple this glamorous and gorgeous, Anna and Tim’s respective hens and bucks parties needed to be equally glamorous and gorgeous.
Last month, Anna and her girlfriends had a retro-themed weekend complete with 80s style aerobic workouts (with fabulous lycra workout gear of course) as well as a dressed-up dinner at Lucio’s Italian Restaurant in Sydney, with the more glam theme ‘La Dolce Vita.’
Tim, meanwhile, spent his boys’ weekend at the Willow Tree Estate in the Hunter Valley wearing novelty costumes, playing golf, go-karting, flying a drone and drinking plenty of tequila.
“Thanks boys, wouldn’t want to let anyone down in the fashion stakes,” he joked at the time of his silly outfit.
Anna Heinrich’s wedding dress
She’s hardly going to post a picture of her wedding dress on Instagram for the whole world to see before the big day, but we may have a clue.
After a photoshoot with Cosmopolitan Bride Magazine, Anna shared one of her “absolute favourite shots” on Instagram so fingers crossed she’s going with something similar to this stunning gown.
We do know that the dress has been sorted since December last year, but Anna admitted to Who magazine that she’s put more effort into her diet.
“It’s more about what you put in your body than on your skin. Feeling and being healthy on the inside is evident on the outside.”
Check out Tim and Anna’s super couple workout, because those who train together, stay together!
But we do know that it’s going to be a black tie affair.
A recent Instagram post from Tim featured his groomsmen having their Calibre suits fitted for the big day and they look rather dapper, if we say so.
Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich’s wedding venue
Mamma mia, looks like we have a destination wedding on our hands!
There had been rumours that the lovebirds would tie the knot at The Residences in Centennial Park, Sydney as well as on Bondi Beach but thanks to the wonder that is Instagram, it looks like Tim and Anna’s nuptials will be held in Southern Italy.
The bride-to-be shared a gorgeous snap of a venue in Fasano and fans are pretty sure this could be the setting for their big day. Let’s hope it stays as sunny as it is in the pictures!
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph shortly after their engagement, Tim said, “You have to think about where you want to get married. That’s the hardest bit.”
The genetically-blessed reality duo have confirmed they’re set to wed in Europe this month, but they won’t be sharing any details until after they’ve tied the knot. Right now, they’re posting up a storm of their Italian travels on Instagram, but the second there’s a sudden social media black-out that’s most likely when they’ll be getting hitched.
“We’re happy to share it later on, down the track, when we’re ready,” Anna told Stellar.
“We made a decision to put out some of our first photos on social media. For the day itself, we just want to keep it between us and our family and friends because it’s a very important day for both of us.”

The guest list
Tim and Anna are opting for quality over quantity. After all, destination weddings are expensive, even when you’re reality TV royalty!
“I would try and keep it small but I think it’s about having the people that really want to be there,” Tim told Nova radio host Smallzy late last year.
“I don’t want anyone there that feels they should be there just because so, not giving too much away, but that’s what everyone that’ll be there will really want to be there and it’ll be a party it’ll be fun.”
Anna appeared on Channel Seven’s The Morning Show last year and said, “My parents will be there and my close friends and my sisters and my bridesmaids.”
Tim’s groomsmen include his younger brother James and best friends Troy Lynch, Dean Stannard and Luke Khoury.
“‘My groomsmen are the gents in my life who probably know me the best. They’re the ones who have always been there for me, through the good times and the bad times. They could probably tell the best stories about me.”
And Anna will have her sisters Andrea and Charlotte by her side as bridesmaids, as well as friends Elissa Griffin and Caroline Matson.
Fingers crossed we’ll see some Bachelor/Bachelorette alumni there!
And afterwards…
Speaking to Stellar on Sunday, Anna says she had doubts about changing her name from Heinrich to Robards but after Tim “looked aghast” she agreed to make the change.
“I think it has a nice ring to it!”
And seeing as these two are both Sydney locals, we expect the newlyweds will be shacking up in the Eastern Suburbs. Stay tuned for baby news!
