The socialite voluntarily withdrew herself from the course on day one after struggling to keep up with a physically-demanding โ€œbeasting,โ€ where the celebrity recruits were required to plank while carrying their 20kg bags on their backs.

โ€œIโ€™ve lived a very high life but thereโ€™s also times where Iโ€™ve struggled so Iโ€™m mentally strong but I donโ€™t have physical strength,โ€ she said after quitting the show.

โ€œEven though Iโ€™m disappointed Iโ€™m leaving I know I need to because my body is not strong enough to be doing these things but I have no regrets about this. If anything it encourages me to work to see what I can do in the future.

The 18 celebrities were thrown in the deep end from the get-go of the course with a confronting challenge where they were exposed to toxic gas particles, before being forced to strip down to their underwear and run through the forest.

Brynne was visibly shaken by the ordeal, and opened up to Fitzy and Wippa about the โ€œhorrificโ€ challenge.

โ€œThat was horrible. Because not only can you not breathe, but you feel like your bodyโ€™s like on fire from the inside out burning outwards with chemicals. And itโ€™s so horrible,โ€ she said.

โ€œIt was really badโ€ฆand I had never felt anything like that before. And like immediate. You canโ€™t swallow you canโ€™t you try to talk and itโ€™s so horrible.โ€

Brynne admitted she was disappointed and surprised she only made it a few hours into the 14-day selection course.

โ€œI didnโ€™t go as far as I would have liked to have. And it was it was so challenging,โ€ she said.

โ€œIโ€™ve never really been the most physical person in the first place Iโ€™m not the most coordinated or athletic or anything. I worked on my fitness game and trying really hard to get fit. Like it didnโ€™t even come close to comparing what I needed to be able to do.โ€

After running to base camp in just their underwear, the recruits were required to strip nude to get changed into their uniforms, which Brynne said was the least of her worries.

โ€œIt wasnโ€™t exactly the most comfortable thing, but that was probably the easiest part of the show for me,โ€ she said.

When asked if she would have a crack at more reality shows, Brynne said โ€œnever say neverโ€.

โ€œI would love [to be The Bachelorette]. Yeah, top of my list,โ€ she said.

โ€œI always like any opportunity that comes along. If I feel like itโ€™s right and Iโ€™m happy to give it a try.โ€

They tied the knot in a $3.3 million ceremony at Melbourneโ€™s Crown Casino in 2009 when Geoffrey was 66, while Brynne was just 26.

In January 2014, it was announced Geoffrey and Brynneโ€™s four-year marriage was over. Brynne previously insisted she doesnโ€™t regret the split, but doubled down on her decision to keep her famous surname.

โ€œI donโ€™t associate my name as an attachment to him โ€“ itโ€™s just my name,โ€ she maintains. โ€œI donโ€™t see any reason why I would change it โ€“ thatโ€™s my identity with or without him,โ€ she said.
