His quest for true love on national TV may have ended in flames but it looks like Nick Cummins has managed to find romance in the wilderness of real-life.
After failing to pick neither Sophie Tieman or Brittany Hockley in an explosive Bachelor finale, Nick jetted out of Australia to escape the finale fall-out and hike the Kokoda Track in Papua New Guinea with a group of friends for charity.
And it looks like the former Wallaby’s expedition has ended in a blossoming new romance.
According to a new report from The Sunday Telegraph, Nick Cummins has struck up a relationship with Steggles chicken heiress and fellow hiker, Lucy Steggles.
The publication claims Nick has known Lucy for “some time” but after they hiked the intense Kokoda Track together earlier this month, “their friendship turned romantic.”

It’s believed Nick and Lucy were first introduced through mutual friend, James Brodie, who is dating Lucy’s sister Kristie and is also Nick’s personal trainer.
Steggles Chicken was founded nearly 100 years ago and the family-run company are one of Australia’s largest poultry empires.
If Lucy’s social media is anything to go by, she and Nick are kindred spirits with the pair sharing a keen interest in travelling, adventure sports and a general love for the great outdoors.

Since Nick’s controversial decision not to pick anyone on The Bachelor aired, the 31-year-old has admitted to struggling mentally.
“I consider myself a pretty upbeat energetic dude and then all of a sudden you just get the wind cut out of your sails,” he said in a candid interview on The Project.
“I’ve never been in a mental space as low as I have been on that show.”
Before starring on The Bachelor, Nick’s last romance was with Norwegian art student Martine Thomassen.
Nick and Martine, who he nicknamed “the hugs and kisses” (Aussie slang for Mrs), dated for five years before calling it a day.
Proving they’re on good terms and there was no social media purge post-split, the pair are still friends on Facebook.
“I finally came to Australia and thought I was going to learn English but, bloody hell, I had to learn not only Australian but also ‘Cummins’, which is like a whole different story,” Martine told Perth Now in 2015.
“Sometimes I’ll be getting into my art and Nick will just play around with the ukulele. He has a little jam session to himself,” she added.
While Nick or Lucy are yet to comment on the reports, we can only wish them the best!
