“Hi beautiful friends and fam,” they began on their joint Instagram account.

“We just wanted to thank your kind hearts for reaching out with messages of love and support on Mothers Day. Sunday hit us hard. It took a toll, but we’re okay, just stacking up our resilience. We miss our baby girl, so much. It feels like a bad dream, it still doesn’t feel real.

On the day of what was supposed to be a special occasion, Carly and Tresne did their best to keep their mind and body busy by relentlessly cooking for hours and looking back at “treasured time with Poppy Grace.”

“And we reopened presents that our precious baby cousins brought over on Friday afternoon. They made us handmade pajamas and cards! Clever cookies! Thank you Grahams- we love you all, you are so thoughtful,” they wrote.
