The secret’s out! Just weeks into the Married At First Sight ‘social experiment’, six new brides and grooms are about to shake things up.
We’ve already seen the existing couples go through all kinds of highs and lows, but the drama is only getting started.
With three new couples about to walk down the aisle and say “I do”, we can’t wait to see how this stirs things up on Australia’s favourite reality show.

Carolina, 33, NSW online business worker
While Brazilian-born Carolina may be looking for “a loyal, affectionate and funny partner in crime” to introduce to her family, the single mother-of-one isn’t opposed to couple swapping… only just after the program wraps up.
“If things didn’t work out, I could perhaps reach out after the show,” she tells Woman’s Day.
“But only if we had never been emotionally involved with our partners.”
Matt, 39, Qld law clerk
Having been married before, Matt is looking for that “intense, can’t live without, utter love” once again – however he’s going to try to do things differently this time.
“I was just too selfish and I put myself first too much,” he says.
But in his pursuit to find The One, Matt admits that nothing is off limits.
“I won’t lie to you, yes, I would cheat. If I absolutely knew there was a stronger and more lustful connection with another bride in this experiment, then I would pursue that.”
Kate, 38, Vic Clinical nutritionist
For Kate, going on MAFS is a last-ditch attempt at finding true love, admitting she’s never had a boyfriend before.
“I’ve never had a serious relationship,” she reveals.
Kate says she’s worried about opening herself up to Australia.
“I haven’t told a lot of people about my relationship past, so telling everyone on TV is quite scary for me.”
Daniel, 30, Qld personal trainer
While he looks carefree on the outside, Daniel harbours a dark past.
Growing up with an alcoholic dad and losing his brother to suicide, Daniel turned to the gym as a way of finding discipline in his life.
“I need someone who’s confident, a good communicator, knows how to have fun and takes care of their health,” he says.
Jessica, 27, Vic retail assistant
With her parents recently celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary, resilient Jess is determined to find her own enduring love story – and she knows exactly what she wants.
“I’m looking for a kind, genuine, thoughtful man who is a great communicator and is attentive,” she says.
“My biggest turn-off would be someone who has no emotional intelligence.”
Dion, 33, Qld property developer
For the successful and stylish Dion, finding a partner who is family-oriented is his number-one priority.
“I’m very close with my family, we have a very strong bond,” he says.
“So finding someone who loves to be around their family is paramount.”
And for Dion, finding someone with an interesting attribute comes a close second.
“The biggest turn-on for me is someone with sexy eyes,” he laughs.
