Just over a month later, Matt Agnew and Chelsie McLeod called it quits, with the reason behind the split remaining a mystery.

But a recent comment made by Chelsie on a fellow Bachelorette’s Instagram pages hints there may be more to the break-up than meets the eye.

Jessica Brody, who was one of Chelsie’s love rivals on the dating show, uploaded to Instagram two images of herself posing with a rose.

“Me ➡vs.➡Me when he tells me I’m the only girl he’s talking to. 🌹” she captioned the shot.

But it’s the comments section where things got really juicy.

“Triggereddddddd,” Chelsie wrote, with another co-star, Rachael Arahill, jumping in to respond with “Bahaha haahahha when u can finally say triggered as well.”

Doubling down, Chelsie added: “triggered is an understatement tbf.”

On The Bachelor, Chelise was pitted against 29 other women as she battled for the affections of Matt Agnew.

Earlier this month, the former couple announced their break-up via Instagram.

“Chels and I have made some beautiful memories together that I’ll always cherish, and I wish her nothing but the absolute best,” wrote Matt.

“However, it’s with a heavy heart that I write this. For Chels and me, our relationship hasn’t translated from filming to the real, every day world as we had hoped.”

Over on her own Instagram account, Chelsie confirmed the news.

“Matt showed me what it was like to be respected in a relationship and I am so thankful for that. However, it saddens me to say that we are no longer together,” she captioned a series of photos of the two of them together.

“I wish him nothing but the best. I’m sorry to those that were invested in our relationship. Please remember to be kind online as you don’t know what is going on behind the screen. All my love.”

Chelsie later appeared to take a swipe at her former flame by uploading images of herself with her Bachelor pals, and captioning it “Take the good with the bad.”
