Married At First Sight Australia stars Duncan James and Evelyn Ellis have been involved in a car accident in Sydney’s Neutral Bay.
According to the Daily Mail, the incident occurred around 1:30pm on Wednesday, with the couple’s luxury Mercedes Benz appearing to have been rear-ended by a bus.
Both Duncan and Evelyn appeared to be in shock as they stood on the footpath alongside their car, with Evelyn covering her face and Duncan reportedly making a number of animated gestures towards the bus driver.
Thankfully, it did not appear that anyone involved had been injured, with the rear of Duncan and Evelyn’s vehicle sustaining minor damage.
The couple were also spotted earlier this week at the TV Week Logie Awards nomination breakfast, with Married At First Sight picking up a nomination for Most Popular Reality Program.
“YAYYY 🎉 Mafs is nominated for MOST popular reality program!! Let’s show the love & vote for us to bloody win!,” Evelyn wrote to Instagram.
The couple publicly confirmed their relationship in May 2023 after months of speculation that the pair shared a secret romance following the conclusion of the show.
“It feels good to finally say it, and it feels kind of exhilarating in a weird, freeing way,” Evelyn told 9Honey.
“We can do all those fun things and not have to sneak around and share all those great moments together,” added Duncan.
Thankfully, the couple no longer need to share their love in secret, with the pair being spotted out in Sydney looking smitten with one another.
“So grateful to be going on this crazy adventure called life with you 🎢 – Ps we owe it all to @mafs,” Evelyn wrote to Instagram, sharing a collection of stunning photos of herself and Duncan out and about.
Now with their relationship officially out in the open, we can’t wait to see what’s next for the couple!
