But in explosive scenes aired tonight, viewers watched on as Cyrell stormed into Martha’s apartment to find out the truth.

Demanding to know why Martha was starting rumours, Cyrell told her “I genuinely don’t like you. I think you s–t stir,” and demanded she stay out of her relationship with Nic.

Martha’s face-mask pamper session was interrupted by Cyrell…

As Cyrell became agitated, the argument escalated with Martha standing up and saying “B—h if you swear at me and scream at me like that one more time…”

Martha was cut off by Cyrell, who stood up and grabbed her robe, before being escorted from the room.

Martha admits the whole incident left her “shocked and scared”.

“I did have anxiety about leaving my apartment afterwards,” she tells TV WEEK. “I was worried about bumping into Cyrell in the lift. I was scared of being alone with her. I knew if I was with Michael or somebody else I’d be fine, but for a while I was anxious to go to the gym or downstairs by myself.”

While the confrontation certainly left Martha shaken, at no point did she want to leave the experiment.

“The producer spoke to me to ask how I was feeling,” she explains.

“I said, ‘I’m fine, I’m a big girl’. I know I won’t get along with everyone. I’m not uncomfortable being around her, I’m happy to be in the same room as her. I know she got angry, but I wasn’t frightened or threatened.”

Cyrell and Martha’s confrontation got heated.

Martha says husband Michael was her rock.

“It was really nice having him there,” she says. “He has this calming effect on my and he was a great distraction.

“We hung out and chilled at home. He was just like, ‘You don’t have to worry about it babe, you are above that.’ It was nice to have him comforting me.”
